Walking up and down the garden and heaving piles of hedge trimmings into the wheelbarrow last night reminded me of what a good workout you can get without going to the gym!
A NEAT way to exercise:
Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis (NEAT), which is basically any movement that isn’t intended as exercise but can give you all the same benefits. Burning calories, increase strength, increasing your heart rate. It could be housework, gardening, using the stairs more, getting up from your desk more often even shopping!
